- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Allstate customer since I got my DL in 2002, I got both home and auto policies with this agency in 2010. In Oct of 2016 I moved out of state and called to cancel both my auto and home policies. Fast forward to may 2017 and I receive a collections notification for my auto policy. I called the agency, explained the situation and the rep on the phone stated the auto policy was never cancelled... When I asked for the cancellation date of my home policy she declined my request.... I told her I felt I was being ripped off because I had cancelled both policies back in October. She did not like my "ripped off" comment and decided to hang up the phone on me. Very interesting she did not want to share the cancellation date of my home policy which after calling the allstate 1800 number was confirmed to be 10/16/17. Typical local agency... zero added value, zero concern for their customers. Take your money somewhere else, these guys are useless.By Alejandro Schnakofsky, September 30, 2016
